The "green" laser beam is selectively absorbed by the target area in or on the skin. This energy is then converted into heat, within the target area, without injuring other structures.
Within thread veins, this heat causes the vessel wall to shrink and to permanently close. Because the laser beam is so tiny, your veins can be treated accurately and relatively painlessly. This KPT laser is the gold standard laser for treating pigmentation and thread veins.

It may take several weeks for treated veins to disappear completely, but sometimes you will see a visible result after 1 treatment. To treat stubborn vessels or pigmentation it may require a course 1-5 treatments for full clearance.
