What is the difference between a dermal roller and micro-needling pen for clinic use?

Micro-needling pens penetrate the skin vertically, whereas micro-needling rollers penetrate the skin at an angle. With a pen you can adjust the depth of the needle for more delicate areas such as your nose and under your eyes. For deeper wrinkles or scarring you can go up to 1.5mm, anything more than that you would be in the hands of an Dermatologist. You can also adapt the speed settings too to maximise your treatment results.

I chose the Protonpen for it's flexibility to treat with nano- needles and micro -needles. The micro- needles are made of medical grade stainless steel and the nano- needles which are designed to work in synergy with all pHformula skin resurfacing treatments are made of silicone hair like cones instead of needles.The proton is CE Approved.

Do growth factors really work?
